Hello All, I have been trying to find an articulated Fleischmann/Roco unit since I first saw it at a local train show approximately 20 years ago. I do not know the name or model number, I can just describe it. I have looked on various sites with no luck, but I know it exists - I have seen it twice - at the local show 20 years ago, and once at the Springfield, Ma show 7 or 8 years ago. It was sold, but stupidly I did not get the info on it. I am pretty sure it is a Fleischmann produced unit, but its possible Roco produced it also. It is a 3-unit articulated passenger train (HO), think of the Southern Pacific Daylight Chair Cars (http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/MTH-HO-80-60011-Articulated-2-Car-Set-SP-p/mth-80-60011.htm) or the Diner cars (http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/Centralia-Car-Shops-N-Articulated-Diner-3-Car-SP-p/ccs-7000-01.htm) Both times I saw it, it had orange paint. The box was long, as the unit did not come apart. I can not remember if it came with pantographs. Any help would help! Thanks!

Perhaps you're thinking of the Southern Pacific GS-4? It's not made by Flesichmann or Roco (and I don't think it's articulated, though lined up with the Southern Pacific Daylight scheme cars it very well could appear as such). Here's a picture
sim-al2 Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end 純那 yeah They did a Rock Island volountarily

Wouldn't have a clue, but neither did I have any idea of a three way articulated diner set, either. Very interesting.

Sorry Pokemonprime, it is strictly a mu passenger set. I'm guessing it was a European commuter set. I was just using the SP pics as an example.

Thank you for your help Pokemonprime! The Fleischmann DB BR614/914 Triebwagen looks similar, but the interesting thing about the unit is the three cars did not come apart. The unit came assembled, like the SP units. The box was somewhere between 30-36 inches long to accommodate the unit.

I think this is what you are talking about. The ROWA 1302. It's the only triebwagen thats permanently coupled and in a long box.
