Mustang, you have been tearing up the rails and putting them back down this week. That is a delightful Pullman set. Particularly interesting are the rounded and oval windows on those coaches. On the prototype, the amount of ability to pull off such a careful design must have been staggering. A most unique and interesting set.

Those Fisher-Price Circus Trains were pretty cool Ben. With the Ringmaster, and clowns and the animals that you can position in all sorts of ways. And durable. The whistle on ours still sounds good after 30 years. Our grandson is now playing with it.

You need the gondola Figures are The Ring Master The Clown The Engineer
Animals are Lion Bear Elephant Monkey Giraffe
I have extras of some of these now
I got mine in 1973 or 1974 or 1975 still have it
And since Fisher Price toys of the Little People persuaion are collectable if I see any I buy for resale or to supplement my collection
They made a motorized Lift and Road train just as I finished grade school so that was one I did not get They also made other trains over the years
And sometimes some of the playsets make theie way on to G layouts as buildings
The farm would work there as it is fairly easy to find
Also as the set was phased out they made it with just the two cars and loco

Thanks, Dirtboy! I grab these Billboards whenever they turn up, at a reasonable cost. I think I paid a buck each for these two, at different intervals.

Barry, I don't know where you find all that classic old stuff, but it's cool.
Looks like you're building up some scenery between the rocks. Planning on more scenery this go-around?

Yeh, I've started throwing some rocks on that bare piece of plywood. I'm liking the idea of minimalist and maybe just throwing some actual dirt on the plywood in places. Probably asking for trouble. I'm rather stuck on the Mantua Metal stuff Don and I've made it quite a habit to keep an eye out for what's out there.
