| Apart from the trucks, are the rest of the models the same as HO or is there a difference in body sizes also?

It depends on the model. Some locomotives clearly look odd on HO scale track if the trucks are swapped. The equipment tends to be more narrow and shorter on HOn3. Not necessarily shorter in height, but sometimes there as well. They do need to still accommodate HO scale people for that matter.
If you look at the picture directly above, the rear locomotive is HO and the foreground locomotive is HOn3. If this helps perspective wise.

There won't be any HOn3 on my layout, save for a wreck vignette. The idea is to have a rail-based wrecking crane sitting on a siding near the wrecked remains of a narrow-gauge switcher, lifting either the engine or one of the cars. I had the whismy idea to motorize it, have the crane string move up and down, lifting the engine with it. Dunno if it's possible. I should note it would be stationary, even though it would be on track. The engine would be lettered Catoctin Limestone (Reporting mark CLK), referring to the Catocin Limestone Kilns which operated until 1903 in the area. The crane itself (and the Porter hauling it) would be lettered RWY (For Richard's Wrecking Yard, the name of my layout's major scrapyard).
sim-al2 Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end 純那 yeah They did a Rock Island volountarily
