I just bought a n scale train off eBay. I was wondering if you can run n scale trains with a HO power pack?

It'll be fine.

Should work just fine. In fact, I've used one power pack on N scale, H0 scale, and even G scale, and it works just fine.

When a model train company makes both HO and N train sets, they both use the exact same power pack, in most cases. Life-Like's HO and N-scale sets all came with the same familiar blue power pack...
