I was given this box, for just getting the shell off a
Proto 2000 GP38-2 !!
That's it.
I think the guy was getting out of the hobby.
He gave me this stuff, along with the Mokado in LOTW
Three Globe car kits.
Two Bachmann Plus F7A's, needing some coupler work.
Proto 2000 0-8-0, minus the tender.
All-metal MOW ballast car. What maker?
Outside braced boxcar, metal on wood. Maker?
Where am I going to put all this stuff?
PS
I wasn't allowed to look in the bottom until I got home.

The "All metal ballast car" is actually a Ulrich GS (General Service) Gondola. A pretty nice score in itself in that it looks to have all the doors. Complete with trucks it alone is worth $12-$15.

I have been trying to recall who made all-metal stuff,
and was coming up blank.
Ulrich didn't pop into my head at all.
Cool. All the doors are there, and I have many types of trucks.
One should match.
One stirrup step is broken off. Rats!
Thanks, Sean.

Just noticed the Globe New Haven car. Would you be willing to sell that? I am a big NYNH&H fan.

What a killer score! Those globe cars are particularly interesting. They look like that have wood frames and a metal shell.

Oops!
I noticed I spelled it MOKADO, instead of Mikado.
A new model of loco, perhaps?
