I finally got a Canadiana, from Dan Mack. I love the colors, the heritage. What I am not wild about is the PT motor. Any thoughts on remotoring this piece? Up to, and including, swapping out the chassis with this one:
Is there a tower motor out there that would fit the Tyco?

I repowered mine using an MU-2 set I bought off eBay. That would be the easiest route I would imagine. Everything just snaps in. I plan on eventually repowering all of my 430s with MU-2 trucks.

This sounds like just the ticket. I did a web search and found nothing related to this. What is the manufacturer?

OK, I think I figured this out: Tyco MU 2 trucks that preceded the wretched pancake motor? The hunt is on.
Would these motors be found in the Red Box Tyco, or can they be found in the Brown Box stuff, as well. What should I be looking for?

A Bachmann B23-7/30-7 would work also.
