This is something I've wanted for a while.

Maybe the only Bicentennial I like more than the Tyco Super 630.

Hubba-Hubba-Hubba. OK, now what to sell to pay for this!?????

Hey Romcat,

What is the asking price on it? It sure is purty.

I hope you get it. Or do you have it already?

Hi:

Won the auction, but it's a bit over budget, so.... have to get rid of something.

One of AHM's Crown Jewels from the late '70s...excellent GG1!

How well do they run? I've never owned an AHM GG1...do they have traction tires?

I have the AHM in Tuscan. It is the smoothest running engine I ever had and a real puller. It does have traction tires. I have never rebuilt a loco or engine and not replacetd the motor with an original. For me they seemed to run fairly well with the original equipment, either that or I just learned how to work around the deficiency. But my Tuscan is really one of the best, quietest, smoothest running pieces I have. Never ran the Bicentennial or the Black PC or Amtrak so I cant say how they run.

A guy was selling one of these NIB on HO Yard Sale for $30. I passed on it, since it was never a fave of mine. I'm still smarting over the Blackjack debacle, tho.
