While camping this weekend I attended a train show at the local town and picked up this Presidents Choice (a Canadian food store chain that issued train sets at Christmas for several years. These sets are now quite collectable and expensive) 2-6-0 Camelback Express set from 1992. The seller had a number of sets for sale all in the $150 to $200 range. This one was listed for $45 because it was missing the tracks and the power pack and the box was in very bad shape. I told him I was really only interested in the engine so he said $40 and it's yours. I got it back to my trailer and looked at it and not only were there 15 pieces of track in the box and rail joiners but there was a "toonie" (what we call our $2 coin) taped to the tender. So the whole set cost me $38. Winner!!
The engine with the Toonie taped to the tender.

We have a "Loonie" ($1 coin with a Loon stamped on it) and the "Toonie" ($2 coin with a Polar Bear stamped on it). There are rumours going around that the $5 bill will be replaced with a coin in the near future. All our "paper" money is now made of plastic paper and we haven't used pennies for over 2 years now.
