As promised, my MTOTW is being posted. I saw these sitting on the shelf at the store upside down, and first thought they were UP...but NOOOO, and at $20, the price was right for these 3 matched passenger cars. I have the engine to pull them, too. So sorry, Ben, I'll keep looking for a UP and this set for you, but I"m keepin' THIS set!

Let me start off with the beginning of my day; I took my 2 mile walk to the beach with my dog, along the way I found an iPhone 4 on the side of the road. It came on when I pressed the button and about three minutes later it got a text message from the owners mom asking where he was, I texted back that I found his phone and it was about to die, here is my number. Her son texted me and picked up his phone, gave me a $20 reward. I called an ad on craigslist for an HO Bachman set for $40. It was still available after three days, so I said I would take it, the owner brought it over and first thing was that we both drove the same truck, a Honda Ridgeline, same model too but his was grey, mine is green. He handed me a plastic bag and asked me if I wanted to check them out first, I said I was okay, I figured that the caboose, cars, track and trestle kit were worth the $40 if the engine was kaput. We shook hands, and did our transfer, both happy. I took the set in, and opened the plastic bag and already my hands felt shaky, they got shakier as I removed each box with the engine being on the bottom. This set has never been set up or used, the engine is brand new, the tracks are shiny and the cars and beautifully clean, not a speck of dust on anything. The wires on the transformer are still bundled. I found a date of December 1986 written on one of the instruction sheets. The trestle is still in sealed bags and comes with 10 telephone poles and 24 street signs in sealed bags.
I have not been on the site for a while, lots of yards to mow, hedges to trim and now fall approaching. I am also winding things down so that I can go back to school in January knowing my clients are in good hands.
