Short but enjoyable ride.
Visited the area four times and enjoyed every second there.
Unfortunately the railroad had numerous troubles with floods in the area.
The county and state got fed up bailing them out with millions. Finally they shut down the railroad operations in Phoencia. Shame on them. At least the railroad still runs in Kingston.

They run their train out of Kingston New York. Currently not out of Phoencia New York. There is a group called Rail Explorers that offers pedal powered rides on the track in Phoencia.

Those rail tourer things are a fantastic idea! I have seen the 0-4-0 on YT, has a very sweet whistle. I need to make one in HO scale now lol. A mantua 0-4-0 would be a great starting point.....
