Back in the mid 60's, Tyco came out with the subject loco which to me, was just about the best looking engine ever. The paint scheme was red and white. Was this ever a Canadian prototype or just something Tyco dreamed up. I'm surprised that no other train company ever came out with it, although Tyco most likely had it copyrighted or otherwise protected. Richard in Vermont

Canadiana was a fantasy scheme dreamed up by Tyco. They were actually released in the mid-70's. The date on the side is 1867 (confederation), but they weren't released for the centennial.

DaCheez thanks for posting photos of your Candiana locos and cars. I am fascinated with that color scheme. Do you know where I can find one? Eventually I would like to collect them all/ Richard in Vermont

eBay is your best bet. Months can go by without a single Canadiana engine and then there may be three posted within a week. You just need to keep your eyes open.
