To B, or not to B, that was the question. Ok, screw it, I'm posting it! LOL. Found this B unit missing a truck at the train show last month. Cheap enough, I need a B unit for a project. Here ya go. Plus it's Western Maryland, would look good behind my BL-2 WM #82.

Highly modified AHM Mini-Trains HOn30 Porter turned into a plantation loco, part of a lot I purchased a couple of weeks back...

Thanks...alas...she looks better than she runs as they suffered cracked gears like Botchmanns...fortunately, there is a gear set available from Nigel Lawton in the UK.

I love that squat, elephant in ballerina shoes look capped off by the peaked roof, wide windows to allow the breeze as she sets off to shunt pineapples or sugar cane.

I pulled this one out of the pile I was selling on Ebay for this lady. I'm greatly enjoying it, and it runs well enough. Not a clue what the maker is, or what the prototype was. It is due for a horn hook refit.

Sorry to double dip, but those nice K-M's made me think of this junk box piece that quickly restored. I have her permanently assigned to a brace of seven Tyco Dutch Maids and an Athearn RG caboose.

On one of the Espee forums, a gentleman put an athearn drive into one of these. Think he used an SD-45 drive. That is probably what I will do with mine as well.

Nice Engines fellas. As most of you know, I run mostly transition era engines but do have alot of modern stuff like this Genesis SD70MAC.

I was surprised that all of the K&M's run fine, except for the dummy, of course. They all badly needed their wheels cleaned. I had to do some couplers today, so they're all good to go. Oddly, considering how many estates and collections David has had go through his hands over the years, he's never had a Krauss-Maffei. So I gave him the pick of the litter, for all the good stuff he's sent my way.
