I bought this partial autorack kit off of evilBay. It did not come with instructions, and the seller didn't know who made it. Can anyone shed light?

You could be right.. It could perhaps be an Athearn bi-level with another deck mixed in by mistake. But the parts are on sprues, which isn't what you'd find in an Athearn kit

With that color yellow, it reminds me of an Accu-Rail kit.

Thanks Justin. Doing some research and looking at the parts, mine is indeed supposed to be a tri-level. I saw that the way the sprues were set up, the bridgeplates came in threes, so... Yeah. Not sure if I'll leave it in Armor Yellow or repaint.

A have a few kits made with plastic like that one . When they were using that type plastic the company name on their boxes was , ** " Stephen Funaro and Sharon Camerlengo " . Their name has been shortened to ** " Funaro and Cermerlengo" . frank

That's quite interesting, Frank. However, I have confirmed that mine is Accurail. In my research I even found pictures of a completed example.

| it's Accurail, but the flatcar tooling originated with somebody called "Custom Rail" who sold nice enclosed auto rack kits which could be seen through. But they molded them in an odd plastic making it difficult to glue them up, so most ended up never built. I don't know if Accurail got the dies for the carrier, if they did they've never used them, engineering this older open style instead.
