Yeah, but it's when the storm starts chasing YOU that it gets squirrely though!  I'd still love to see one with my own two eyeballs, but I imagine it can be dangerous if not done properly ( chasing ).

Have seen a few myself. You might remember an EF2 tornado hitting the southwest Iowa town of Creston back in 2012. That was pretty scary, ecspecially because there was no warning! Missed my house by about a mile. Fortunately no one died and the mess got cleaned up pretty quick
