I am helping to liquidate a 40 year model train estate (I've posted before on Trading Post, but very little interest) that includes about two dozen vintage lanterns, all but two in excellent condition. About 1/3 red globe, and the others clear.
Also some switch stand locks (missing keys) and one or two other bits in the Railroadianna category.
The most confusing one is a kerosene lantern embossed with the distinctive Penn Central "worms in love" logo. How can that be?? Was the PC so decrepit as to be using kerosene lanterns in 1968? Is this an April Fool's joke? I will post its image later tonight, when I get home.
Anyhow, if anyone wants to make an offer in whole or in part, send me a PM and I will send you photos thereof.

Well, it looks like a RR lantern. I'm at work, so I'll post pics later tonight. What do you make of the Penn Central lantern??
