Believe it is a two-tone paint, but it can look very much like only one reddish color with the white band down the side. Think the top is more of an orange-red and the lower area is a more typical bright red.

This scheme would look great on say Athearn's new SD-45T-2 wouldn' it?!?

It is indeed a 2 tone paint, but as you pointed out doesn't look lkie it with that white band. It's a drak red and a dark orange that is a pretty close match. The engine looks the same.
I haven't seen the Athern so I can't comment about that.

Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for the pictures ( best I have seen ) and comments. It was very hard to tell from other pictures I had seen if it was all red or not. The orange looks the same as my ICG caboose or maybe just a hair darker.
I see in the picture on the resource page that the logo goes all the way across and the font is larger. Is that a preproduction model?

Thanks
Mike

Now there's another "different color scheme" I never noticed.
