While tiptoeing thru the eBay Tyco section, I found a pink boxcar with the Nickelplate road name.
Now while furthering my trip I found this:

Now, is this real or have I had a little too much whiskey and the elephants haven't arrived yet.
Just checked on hoseeker and it is a legitimate Tyco GP20. Saw the diagrams from 1960 for it.
Just not sure if Tyco actually issued it in the pink Santa Fe colors.

I like the looks of that pink, George! I am a little confused as I have never seen one that color. I'm thinking many things, original mistake with paint shade mix, a Repaint since the road name looks to be the correct color, sun faded red to pink? Fun to think about, I don't know what to say ...

Probably a perfect combination of bad lighting, bad photography, paint fade, or bad photo editing.
On my photo editing software, there's a feature called "auto smart fix". I have noticed on some photos, especially ones that have red elements, it will produce some bizarre effects like this one.

I'd go with JNXT on this. I thought I saw a Tyco Green
Giant on ebay a while back in some weird color, I
forget what, and it turned out to be standard
issue. Probably the lighting.
