My set this week is the Tyco/Mantua Civil War Centennial Confederate (Georgia Central) set. I also found a couple of extras cars that I didn't know that they had produced.

Extra cars.

Ditto to that! One of the more interesting sets I've seen of late. Those are all Tyco?

Barry, the layout is only partially done. I'm working on the buildings and have yet to put any landscaping on it. Will try to get a few photos of what I have completed tho.
Chops, The Civil War Centennial sets were produced by Tyco in 1961 on the anniversary of the Civil war. They made a Union(blue) and a Confederate(gray) set.

both sets had the same cars. The Ammunition and Explosives box cars were just marked different for each set. There were also 2 cannons on the platform cars, but I haven't got the replacements finished for them.

My sugar set. When I was about 10, Mom took me out to Caldor's where they were having a train sale. The first car I ever bought was a Domino Sugar.
