Nice consist! I like it. Today, my set consists of a VERY vintage , pre-war Lionel Boxcab and Pullman passenger cars, plus some accessories. I was approached at my club's Open House about some tinplate and AF stuff a lady had brought in on Saturday, no other members were interested, so I went to take a look. I was astounded at the condition. The lady said her uncle had died, none of her kids were interested, so she just wanted to find them a good home. They did! I couldn't resist. Looked them up today, the engine is worth about 150, the cars about 30 each. I got a great deal. I tried it at the shop test track, wouldn't move. the center rail rollers were compressed, so I had to tweak the copper strips they were on to lower them, then they started touching the track, and it was off and running finally! A bit slow, but no stalling. Even has original boxes with it. <googly-eyes> My co-worker at the shop was trying to buy them off me, I said No way! I will enjoy this set immensely in the future.

Fine sets. Dig that standard gauge Jerry. That is an awesome gift. Ken it looks like that boom is laced up real nice with the brass pulleys, imagine it operates fairly smoothly as well.
