My SOTW is a small lot I got at a train show for $11, which included a fully functional Bachmann Spectrum GP-30 in Canadian Pacific livery and a Crown (O.K. brand) H0 Canadian caboose, which is basically a Hong Kong-made knockoff of an Athearn caboose that they were making back then. At first, I thought the Canadian Pacific caboose was an Athearn, so I thought, "cool", and then when I actually looked at it, I realized that it was actually a Crown, because it said so blatantly on the base of the model next to the "O.K." logo. I have no idea if these Athearn knockoffs are rare, but it's definitely something I haven't seen before.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."
