My COTW is a Crown (O.K. brand) H0 caboose in Canadian Pacific livery. When I first got it, I thought it was simply an Athearn blue-box caboose, and then I looked around it and saw the base, where it read, "CROWN HONG KONG", which right next to it had the "O.K." logo. I got it with a beautiful Canadian Pacific Bachmann Spectrum GP-30 in H0 for $11 yesterday. Are these Crown H0 rolling stock rare? Because, I definitely haven't seen any of them until now.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Steve, I have 4 of the "OK" boxcars. They were the first I'd run across and had to ask the
folks here about them. As I have not seen many of them, I would wager a guess that they
are probably rather uncommon.

Handy caboose for shortline service. It's all set up to serve passenger and express needs as well as being the caboose.

AAAAAAAAAAUGH! The mother of all Tyco, GIMMIES.
Trying to find a Bubble Yum is like trying to find a
snark, a quark, or a Loch Ness Monster. Glimpses are
seen, but trying to bag the little devil is quite another.

One of my very favorite pieces is sitting behind (right side of photo)the Bubble Yum flat in the photo above. The AHM, Woolworth box car. Woolworth was my best source for train products when I was 10-16 years old.. It was 45 minutes away but we went fairly often..

This RCA Silverama box car is probably the 4th highest I have ever paid for a TYCO or a Mantua. The guy on eBay wanted $249 "Or best offer", I sent an offer of $50 and he declined. A week later I offered $85 and he accepted. Not sure if this is rarer that the RCA caboose but ill know whe I find it.

I paid $260 for a clear unit (Mint), I paid $139 for a clear unit (Missing steps), $95 for a ICG Rivarossi/TYCO C630, $85 for this RCA box car, $80 for a Durango Caboose, $70 for a Pennsy C430 and a Queensland rail caboose. I have paid $50 for about 100 different TYCO/Mantua cars. For a while I was going full bore for my collection. I stopped after I bought some stuff from a lady on line, she said they were her fathers who had passed away. That hit me hard because NONE of my children, brother, sisters, nieces, or nephews gave a damn about trains. At that moment I realized if I passed away the same thing was going to happen to my collection, and trust me, I have a GREAT train collection. Now, I am very choosy about what I buy and have even sold some good ones (Only if I have a double). I am now not that collect who hast to have more that one of the collectable stuff, I wont bid (Unless it is dirt cheap) so others can strengthen their collection.

Coffee on the mind. Teddy Roosevelt was the one attributed to this slogan: "Good to the Last Drop."
A reporter queried, "so what was wrong with the last drop?"
