My COTW for this week is an Athearn Lackawanna box car.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Opened the box to this Tropicana and it just jumped out at me. Very crisp & new... I have 84 street lights working off the Ripmax now... You can see the glow of the city!

Mega cool photo there, Walt, definitely one for the imaginary Tyco Calendar. I, too, have fallen in love with this specimen. Here's my kit doodling across the El Paso Model Train Club's HO layout.

Hope that guy drivin' the Challenger doesn't get nervous and let go of the clutch too quick.

Actually Chops, when life hands me a bunch of lemons, I make a nice tall, cool glass of Long Island Tea.
My COTW is actually 3. I won a bid for some un-built Roundhouse cars. 2 box cars and 1 stock car. 1 box car will become the Cookie Car for my Xmas train and the Stock car will become Rudolph's personal car.

That's a cool lookin' gondola Ben. Interesting how the side support staves are kind of randomly placed.
