My COTW is an MDC/Roundhouse Route of The Hiawatha box car from the late 60's early 70's.

Ben, there's 12 of those on ebay right now.
Pulled this one from it's original box last night. Tyco Hunt's, New and crisp!

Found this at a train show this Saturday. I don't know how easy VIA stuff is to get in USA, but I don't think it's common. So thought I'd grab it while I had the chance at $4.

Nice caboose, Jerry. Are you going to detail-paint and weather it, maybe give it an interior?

Not going to weather it, Zelda ( still looking for my Tender drive parts box ). And Microbuss, I have plenty of standard issue Tyco cabooses to steal the rear ladder and railings from.

Next load, any road. Load after that, JNTX. Hmm, doesn't rhyme. I was admiring a post by Metalsmith1 the other week, and noticed a most curious car in the background. Ka Zam! Next thing I know it's in my mailbox. It is now in revenue service. Thanks!!

Good to see it operational again Ben. One of my first attempts at custom graphics with adhesive backed vinyl. looks a bit crude to me now but you have to start somewhere!

Those graphics look pretty decent to me Jerry. Seems like a wood sided car would use panel type graphics at times; just maybe not the capacity numbers?
