Hey,
Athearn is doing a new run of 50' Flats with 40' Trailers. They have December 2006 delivery dates and are priced around $20 retail.
These are excellent for use on smaller layouts or ones with tight radius curves. It is difficult to operate piggybacks, as the flats are usually 85' in length. These are similar to what Athearn once made for Cox in the 1970s. Paint jobs on most recent Athearn Ready To Roll freight cars are very nice. I've already pre-ordered the MoPac and Santa Fe examples for my layout/collection...
