Well now that we are back again.
Car of the Week : A Canadian National different type of 40 reefer by Athearn. If your wondering how a Athearn 40 reefer can be different it is this. The first series of reefers that Athearn made had doors that hinged open. This type didn't last long.

Something new every week. I've seen thousands
of Athearns, never seen this one, ever. I like
all those tracks in the back: all main lines
or is it yardage, I have to wonder.

Hi Chops; The two furthest away are mainlines. The other are yard tracks.

Other Athearn 40' reefers that I have with the doors that open are.
* 1-Carnation, 2- Pacific Fruit Express, 3- Fruit Growers Express, 4-Swift, 5-Santa Fe Super Chief.
