Missing a smoke funnel?? What do you do? I have a few suggestions on how to fill your tyco smoking locomotive. If you have bought and used a precision oil bottle-save it to fill with smoke fluid. Rinse it out with Dawn or other detergent before adding smoke fluid. A syringe will work also to get the smoke fluid into the bell opening. I still have my original tyco funnel. To date i have not seen any listed on ebay. I do not know of any for sale in the Walthers catalog either. Precision glue applicator tips will work also. In the walthers catalog-Manufacturer A-West sells apllicator bottles with stainless needles. Each is 1oz in capacity. They also sell a G-Gun applicator for glues-can be used for smoke fluid. Empty Labelle bottles make excellent smoke oil fillers for tyco also. Most Bachmanns drop the oil into the stack for smoke action unlike tyco which has the small metal bell hole for filling. Hope this helps you to get smoking-the healthy way.

Try as I might I never could find the opening on a Silver Streak to get one to smoke like yours does.
SORRY

Having received a Chattanooga Choo-Choo recently, I appreciate the heads up on where to add the smoke. I'd have blindly poured it down the stack[:I] Mine still has its funnel and smoke bottle in its original box.

BTW...is it OK to run without the smoke...I know Bachmanns and others tended not to like that.

I remember buying smoke fluid in a bottle with an eye dropper as the applicator, seemed to work ok when it goes in the stack, but I never tried to use it on one that goes in under the bell.
Oh yeah sorry for the "funny" but I'm allowed since I've been there and done that.
