Today my Aunt sent me an article about a rail road grave yard in of all places Hungary
Which got me to thinking of the "gauge" railroads use today
US primarily uses standard I know Russia uses a larger size or did Spain has a "transition " device to switch the trains to two differennt gauges
What about the rest of the world?

I know of a couple of other countries railroad activities. In South Korea, they use the same standard gauge as the us, and the same is with the north and china, I believe. The last narrow gauge line in Korea closed bout 20 years ago. In Japan, most of the mainline is 3 foot 6 inch, but the high speed trains are standard gauge 4 ft 8.
