My LOTW is a Airfix made Mainline Railways 0-6-2T class N2 in BR livery. This model was made in or around 1982.

Nice looking locomotive Steve. That also looks like a nice display shelf you have there.

Here is a great piece to my Tyco Collection. I've been after this locomotive for quite some time.

Finished in time for Halloween. This was a scrapbox project that began with a RF&P GP-35 .I painted it up as C&EI #666...nicknamed the Beast by rail fans, the prototype unit became a lucky find for camera toting fans back in the day.

Rubber band Hustler, pausing between shunting duties. Well loved, and well used,
to be sure, she runs like a top.

This is actually a borrowed chassis from another unit in Santa fe colors. I just used it for the photos. Looks like it could use a new swing hangar on the front.

Found it on eBay. I've searched flea markets and train stores in NC, SC, and Florida but never could find one. So I finally broke down and bought this one off eBay. I only gave $43 for it so not bad at all. Now all I need is the Ten Wheeler '76 and my collection will be complete!

CE&I stands for Chicago and Eastern Illinois. I think it's been assimilated by the Yellow Borg (Union Pacific).

To add to your list of 666's, there used to be a U.S. Highway 666 in southwestern Colorado until they changed the route number. People were stealing the signs.

Some of it was acquired by CSX through L&N...I have read the story of the final CE&I disposition several times and still can't say I understand it completely.

C&EI was split up between the Mopac and the L&N. Several locomotives went to the L&N including several E-units. Mopac got the remainder. At least one C&EI FP-7 made it to Mopac blue paint. I recently picked one up from Atlas in SCL paint and I will be painting it for C&EI in the Jenks blue color scheme. my goal has been to have at least one example of all the diesels that Mopac owned. Baby Faced Baldwins are going to be a challenge because the ones that the Mopac had were longer than the standard length ones used on CNJ and other roads.
