Barry, those black yard modules were 30 years old, and hadn't been used in about 30 years. I swore up a blue streak that we should not use them at the show until we overhauled them, but the gang wanted them so off they went. You will notice the big non-standard offset between the two modules. That was the least of our headaches. A mystery short knocked out the second main line, ties so old that the brittle plastic gave way allowed rails to float. But in the end, it was fun to run some trains, the crowds were big, and I got to run the bejeezus out of my Tyco billboard consist.

My SOTW is this nifty little narrow gauge critter and ore cars that I had posted last week in the Tincup and Telluride section in the layout forums.
