My LOTW is an Athearn Blue Box Baldwin S-12 from the 70's that I got at a train show for $20. It ran horribly when I first got it, but then we found out one of the flywheels were loose and got it fixed for no charge. It runs fairly well, now.

Thank you. Your Southern looks pretty nice, too.

My LOTW is this super slick Burlington Northern E-7 that will soon be handling commuter trains on the LC&P.

I tell you I think I have seen that Southern Mikado somewhere before. Just cant recollect where. Ken that is one Beeeauuutifull locomotive. A good choice for this week LOTW. I give it a thumbs-up. Now what the heck can I put it. AHHHHHHHH ! Let me think. How about aaaaaaanother TYCO/Mantua Mikado. A Jersey Central one. frank

This is about as close as I could find for the BN paint scheme on the Tyco unit. There is some creative license at work but hey its Tyco. It still looks great and I can honestly say that hands down this is absolutely the best running Tyco engine I have ever acquired. Very smooth running, super quiet.
