Well better late than never. This week another Bachmann City Scape building. I call it The Ambassodor Hotel. Another B&W study for your enjoyment

Thanks Barry and Ken. Big City is what I'm going for here. The 'water boy' is from a set of roofers. I don't think it's water in those buckets.

Gary, I like your sense of detail. Lots of stuff to find, like the cow (or pig?) in the building entrance, the "water boy" on the roof, the guy around the corner who looks like he might be relieving himself, and other things I'm sure are there but I haven't found!

Glenn, thanks. It's funny how people are taking the details from this photo. The cow is a bow to Chicago's 'Cows On Parade' art exhibit a few years ago. Painted up fiberglass cows were all over downtown. I found I had a bunch and painted them up too. The guy taking a leak is actually pulling a hand loader off a street elevator. I think the shoe shine stand and the doorman add a lot to give the scene an authentic city feel.

My BOTW is this little gem I found at a swap meet. Im converting to use as a Union Station .
* Well metalsmith1 I just got done with the enjoyable task of commenting on your turntable in AOTW, Now here I go again. Those larger central city stations like yours really have a place in HO modeling. Should add lots of interest to the layout. Now you will need a fleet of yellow Taxi cabs, Also many well dressed men to women to fill the seen. * A very good find. frank

My building for this week is a scratch built ore tipple that I made about 25 years ago from plans I found in a magazine.

I was going thru some boxes and found it. Also found a few other items from long ago that I didn't realize that I still had.
