When Union Pacific merged with Southern Pacifc, UP acquired AC4400 and C44-9W's for the fleet. UP put a yellow stripe on the sides and "patched" over the SP logo and number. These engines then received UP numbers. I patched these using Microscale decals #91136 for the yellow stripe and MC-4328 for the patches. These were Athearn Blue Box engines. Both engines were completely sprayed with my 50/50 mix of Testor's Dullcoat and Glosscoat, nearly duplicating the original Athearn finish. As usual, both engines have 2mm LED Clear headlights. One project is left and then I am done with my custom painting....

Thanks! The hardest part of doing these, was trying to find the right way to do the yellow stripes. They are too narrow to paint, so it took a while to figure out the correct size decal for the stripe.
