Firstly, please forgive me in advance for being a complete newbie to both this board and it's core subject matter.
Last year, as I was helping my parents move from my childhood home, I stumbled upon a Tyco Spirit of '76 train set that was given to me when I was an infant either in 1975 or 1976. It's still in its original, unopened packaging. Before I make any a hasty sale decision, I'd like to identify it appropriately. Based on info at http://www.ho-scaletrains.net/, I believe this set is either the 7305 or 7306. I believe the engine is an F-9, which would make it the 7306. I'd greatly appreciate any confirmation via the attached image. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! Are there any set numbers on the sides of the box?

A very cool set. Thank you for posting it.
Looks like I stumped everyone about my single vs. dual action on the Rocket, Trevithic.

| The picture on the box top suggests 1975 But the engine included is a later issue

You have the 7306 set which appeared in the 1976 catalog and included the F9 loco. The 7305 appeared in the 1975 catalog and included the engine pictured on the box. Check hoseeker.net.
