Has anyone bought one of the prefab layouts? This seller has at least one more different style of these...

Read the fine print - those are not prefab, you have to build them - this is a kit.
All the buildings, track, etc. are things you add to it yourself, they don't come with the kit.
I bought one of these a few years back as a starter kit for my first layout. It's worthwhile for that purpose, because it has instructions and guides you through a lot of different techniques.
Forget what I paid but I don't think it was anywhere near that much.
