This is my latest endeavor, for which I have been mentally building over the last
five years now, finally have the time to start actual work on the thing.

Basically two ovals overlapping each other with diamond 20 degree crossings into two unconnected main lines- so two operators will have plenty of work separating their individual trains from collision. The interchange at right allows the operator of one mainline to bypass, altogether, the second main line so two trains can be run without interference by the other. An "L" extension is to be added at the far end of the layout,
which can be accessed by both main lines. At that point, running the locomotive around, one could then interface with the second main line, or in the case of the "passenger,"
change trains at the to-be-built passenger station.

The inner most track can be used as a bypass, passing track, or lead into the extension.

4x8, plus another 2x4 extension, the layout uses mostly Hornby OO track, with a few bits of Atlas OO on the straight sections mostly, where I ran out of British track. Turn outs are manual, and have similar characteristics of Peco, maybe the flangeways are a smidgen deeper.

Built for mainline operations, in the main, a few spurs will be added in. The whole works will be converted to DCC once I work out the electrical bugs inherent to power
routing turnouts.

That looks like it's going to be a fun railroad to run trains on Jeff.
