This week I'm changing neighborhoods. This is the latest addition to a residential area with a little different tone than Plasticville Estates.
Let's start with the Addams Family House. The Polar Lights re-pop of the old Aurora kit.
I painted over the 'Frighting glow' plastic and dumped the ghosts and window treatments. I also replace the door and railings and added the brick work around the base. It still looks kind of creepy. The vines helped cover a major gap next to the tower.

cool I has this kit unopened!
This the kit I'll use for my Addams Family layout from the movie
Should mention you can now get the Munster's house unbuilt or as a built-up kit
What did you do with the ghosts??

What does the original kit look like?

Munster's will be next week, stay tuned.
Original kit is kind of cheesy, especially with that glow plastic, TV characters in windows and mechanical moving ghosts.
The one 3D ghost is now haunting my cemetery

Frankly microbuss, If I saw fit to build a replica of the TV house, I would start from scratch. This kit is so far off, it would be easier to discard and start over. Now if you want a run down Victorian mansion, it's a half creditable starting point.
