For this week, my AOTW is a Life Like Build-A-Scene that I think is actually kinda neat. I'll definitely try to put it together at some point.

You just keep turning up the most remarkable items. Never seen this one before, either. Itsa beauty.

And I believe it's complete, too. Still has all the scenery items that came with it originally. Heck, I have that exact hopper car shown on the box.

Nice set there Stephen. Good set to use in a left over space. Lots of options on how to set it up.
My accessory of the week is a bottle cap. Yes a bottle cap, complete with inner liner.

Yeah, definitely. I will find use for it, for sure.

You know, I never thought about it, but that makes a GREAT swimming pool! Or hot tub. Pretty clever!

My AOTW comes from an HO lot I just picked up this past week. This station platform is one of the items in 4 BIG bins I got for $100. It even has a subway entrance, too.

Oranges, in a gondola, is my AOTW. The gondola is a trade from our friend Microbussssssssss. The trailers on the flat is an early, hand painted piece, when the first twangs of Tycomania were starting to nibble at my toes.
That's how Tycomania starts: just fooling around with one little piece, heck it only cost a dollar, then another, and then another, and then a Tyco pipe unloader and the next thing you know you have half your garage over run with Tyco and Mantua.

You say that like it's a bad thing!
And I like the gondola full of oranges; there's just something a little whimsical about that...

Gary B,
Love that swimming pool!
Years and years ago, modelers had to be creative, and some had a real gift. Glad to see someone still does!
