The For Sale or Trade thread is locked, so I'll post here, hopefully I won't get into trouble. I'm not selling anything just yet, need parts for my Hobbytown locos. I have a bunch of parts I don't need, they are for switchers, I'm concentrating on the big ones, the PA1 and the F units, A and B. I have enough shells, but need chassis and motors, with 6 wheel trucks, and all the gears and shafts. I need coaster trucks for my B-units, which are un-powered.![]() As usual, there's lots of different parts that do the same job, just little differences to drive us nuts. Side frames will have holes at a different spacing, gear towers will be different, trucks are different. Doesn't anybody ever standardize? I'll try to post a pic of what I have to offer, even though some of the parts may fit my PA1, I'm not sure.

I'm looking for a power truck to upgrade my HT 1600hp road switcher. Let me know what you might have. I would also need the u-joints for this. Evan

What you need PGE, is the coupling sets. They contain the "U" joints and a brass rod for connecting the motor to the drive truck and the drive truck to the rear truck. Be sure to measure the shaft diameters to get the right size.

They usually have a lot of parts listed there as well at somewhat reasonable prices.

Actually, what I require is a second complete drive truck with u-joints to connect it to the existing powered truck. I have a section of 3/32" shaft. Evan
