Hello, guys. My contribution to this week's BOTW is an unbuilt Life Like Oil Company kit that I'm going to be using on my H0 scale switching layout. I got this with a ton of H0 stuff from my grandparents yesterday, and yes, the kit is complete.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Stephen - Nice building. I always thought that could be used a lot of different ways, but never picked one up.
My contribution for the week as promised, is the Plasticville House Under Construction times 3, making up Phase 2 of Plasticville Estates. I purchased one new then got two more in a box of stuff. Since its the same house as the PV Two Story House, I used it as the model home. Note each one I modified to be at different points in construction just as they would be in real life.
Oh, sorry, no basements.

My BOTW is a trio of unbuilt kits I found at Saturday's Train Show - a Life-Like Drive Through Bank, an AHM Twin Stall Engine House and Diesel Oil and Sanding Depot. The boxes weren't perfect, but the insides were complete:

kool I has the Bank
What I want to do is figure out how to light up the traffic lights with LEDs
The main drive up window on the box is wrong
It should be on this side where the other 2 are

Funny. I use one like that every week...sometimes twice a week. Wife has me do her banking, but she refuses to go along. I drive an old RHD Jaguar...and back through. Sends new tellers into apoplectic shock.

This bank can sometimes be hard to find. I had this one and sent it to Microbusss. Just couldn't find it's spot on my layout. Love the kit though...

Walt, that's a really nice looking corner lot that KFC is sitting on. Gary B, same goes for that new housing development.

As a teenager, I once backed through a Mickey D's drive thru because my passenger was hungry!

Yes, thanks Glen, JNXT.
Walt I like your KFC too. I got two beat up ones in a bag with several other buildings for $5.
I fixed one up, don't know what I'll do with the other. I noticed you're missing some signage. I found someone had posted the original sticker sheet somewhere so I downloaded and printed off on mailing label paper. It came out great. If you want I can post the stickers so you can do the same. Let me know.

JNXT - That engine house is a cool kit. Great brickwork, you can turn it into a really nice building.

A very small bit of Gary Walford's unfinished masterpiece layout, filling a two
car garage. That drive through bank is the toast!

That AHM engine house brings back fond memories. One of my
first kits. I went crazy trying to figure out how to make the
door activator work. Never did.
