Be calm, The new owner has taken on the responsibility of this forum. That is a lot. He will make an entrance as he sees fit. His policy of members only has gained 3 people in as many days. I would like to thank him for keeping the forum going. Regards John

Yes, definitely. If it wasn't for him, our previous owner would've shut this site down for good.

His policy of members only has gained fifteen new members in three days, most likely all longtime lurkers forced to finally show themselves. It remains to be seen whether or not the forum will gain any truly new members. I can speak only for myself, but whenever I'm forced to give up personal information in order to view content, I look elsewhere. Only time will tell whether or not the new owner can keep the forum going.

This wasn't posted in the easiest place to see:
Posted by Admin (March 15 2015 to April 15 2015) I am transferring the rights and ownership of this forum to a 3rd party person not currently associated with the forums. I do not have the time or want to manage the system anymore. How things are run from that point forward are soley up to the new admin.
I've been asked to restrict access to members only so the information contained herein requires a login and is not exposed and used by other sites without permission as it currently is.
I've been asked to remove the trading post forum as no liability is wanted by this person for any deals gone wrong.
Those measures will take place immediately.
I will be leaving the forums. I do not want to be contacted in any manner.
Todd aka New York Central

Good grief. Shows what you can miss when you don't pay good enough attention for a couple of days. Old admin left, new owner, new banner, no more trading... and an abundance of interesting server errors on my end lately.
I welcome the new owner and all, but something seems fishy to me.

Let me clarify....I saw this notification, I was confused about the "restrict access" part, since I was viewing all this without logging in. I logged in after I saw the notice so I could reply. I don't see what is restricted. I can still view the forum without logging in.

Well, access was restricted to members only but that has been undone in the last few hours. You must not have been here for awhile.
