Man, when I found out the guy only wanted $2 apiece, I guzzled these quick! I've got a few beer cars, but these are nice, and the price was right, too.

I think I've tried all those brands of beer. Back in the 70's, during the Great Beer Strike, a few of us took a boat to the San Juan Islands at Snug Harbor and loaded up with a HUGE amount of beer flats. Kind of reverse rum-running I guess! Lucky we weren't caught. Evan

My SOTW is a pair of Roundhouse Old-Time cars - a Northern Pacific Combine and Coach. These will be taking the place of those funky Euro cars on my Village Express set.

Dang Jerry, you made a real score there. Those are going for $15 each on evil bay in that condition. Nice guzzle.

Hey Ben, the F's are still on my hit-list. Keep looking, you'll find a UP set of your own. After picking up that boxed Aerotrain, a Tyco UP streamliner should be a piece of cake for you!

Nice set DaCheez! I got a set of those cars myself. Just no F unit to pull it yet.

what a beautiful set Cheez. I saw a nice Tyco UP "City of San Francisco" E9 at the train show today that would have been perfect for it. Good running shape for $30. One of those things that you think about when you come back from a train show and wish you would have picked up

Heh, that after-train-show regret feeling. I think I have a UP E-unit somewhere...it might be AHM though. I'll have to lash them up some time and snap some pics.

I get a kick of how this commemorative State set drunkenly reels over the high rise. It is a static display. As Major Bill says, "I just like to have fun with the stuff. I'm not shooting for realism."

That bridge with the steep approaches would look right with those trollies going over it. In fact, I think it would look downright neat.

Love the layout! It says very clearly "Let's have some fun". Wondering what the six-sided building is - I like it

Yeah, I agree with Don. Rickety, awkward, urban trolley railway. It would be fun to see a video of trolleys, or a train, running over that bridge.
