My SOTW is an IHC Premier H0 scale lineup Amtrak set from the late 1990's. The reason I got it was because of the GG1 it has within the set and they brought the set down to $40. And the box was still sealed, too. And good gosh, the locomotive is so smooth in terms of performance. On top of that, I've seen the same loco alone go online for anywhere approximately between $75-$180.
 What do you guys think?

Oh, and I found a picture of the real 902 online.
It appears 902 was dressed in that livery in the late 1970's.

Just got this nice set of UP decorated streamliners. Not sure who made it, but it will go nicely with my F7 set that I just received. A little restoration and it's ready to roll.

For my set this week is 1950 Mantua freight cars. All of the same time period. All of the same type construction. All metal cars of the 1950s. Except for the caboose which is all brass, the freight cars are all metal with printed and embossed paper sides. frank

Nice to see you bringing those out Frank. Reminds me that some time ago I'd asked you if you noted any "cast" wheels on any of your Mantua Metal cars. At that time you weren't able to get at them, but I'm wondering if you notice any 'grey' wheels in any of the wheel sets for those cars?

Just noted that Aerotrain is on a viaduct backdrop. The cool factor went even higher! The unanswered question... does it run???

The contrast of 1930's technology (902) and the metroliner cars is exquisite.

I find it quite interesting, honestly. And I actually kinda wonder where 902 is now since there's 16 out of 139 of those things still around.
