Hello, all. My contribution to this week's AOTW is a toolbox I got for Christmas that I recently filled with train supplies.

Give you an A for organization. I have my tonnage loosely piled into cardboard boxes with paper towels protecting the pain. I am awful.

My AOTW is a bridge I picked up last weekend. Needs a little TLC but I like the construction.

Nice bridge Jerry! As I've learned, the quality of construction is the most important thing when it comes to used structures. I purchased several buildings back in December hoping to modify them for my layout. Some of them were so poorly assembled my attempts to bring them up to par with the rest of my buildings only made them worse. Certain types of glue are very unforgiving. Anyway, you seem to have a good starting point with that bridge!
kovacste000, nice toolbox! Something I should probably invest in.

A set of Life's-Like Campbell's soup billboards from their Campbell's train set. Also included is the more common lighted Campbell's billboard from long ago!

Barge. This is a scratch built barge by my friend Jose Enrique, on an HO module at Amtrak National Train Day last May. It still needs plastic water, but is otherwise nearly complete. The scene, and the barge, was inspired from a Walther's catalog cover picture.

Thanks. Wait, you don't have a toolbox? I thought every major model railroad dude had one of those.

Here's something neat Life-Like used to sell in the '80s...
It doesn't include the building kits, but I bought it so I could use some of it on my layout and some of it on the local hobby shop/museum's HO layout too!

Nope, all the small stuff goes in my drawers and the big tools sit on the work table. Ideally I'd want a wall to organize everything, but a tool box would be the next best thing.
Here's my AotW. The aforementioned drawers. I paid something like $5 for this at a thrift store...

That's pretty cool, Cheez. That's the type of thing I want to build up to eventually.

Those are the buildings that didn't make the cut for my layout. It's hard to tell from the pic but the two Belvedere hotels are pretty thrashed. I may be able to make one good building from the two. Still, there's potential.
