Since the new house purchase fell through, I've moved some cabinets around and I am getting the old living room set up as the hobby room.

Hope to start building some Free-Mo models soon. Going to start with an Inglenook. Modules will be easier to store when not in use to make the wife happy! Going to cheat a little though and use code 100 rail for now.
Thanks, Tim

Well, sorry the new deal fell through, sounds like a nice re-organization is going to happen at the old home to allow for trains. Keep us posted on the progress.

Hopefully you can get everything put together okay, wilde. I have to say, though, I like your design so far.

Thanks guys.
I added another shelf. They are from Ikea and aren't cheap. Going to have to pick up some gray stain and make some myself as I'd like to add a few more...

The left cabinet is stuffed full of my cars and other parts. The right cabinet will be general modeling supplies, etc. The desk will be my work surface. I have a 4' florescent light spanning the gap beneath the bottom shelf. Cleared out some more furniture and boxes. Need to pick up some plywood to start my module work.

Tim: Best wishes and good luck with you new train room. Everything starts somewhere. I'll be watching in the background. Also see a helper in the doorway on one photo. Lucky you. frank

Here's a better shot of the overall work space. The Contadina box has my mom's old Lionel Scout.

It's O scale. I'll set it up tomorrow for some pics. Needs a good cleaning. From the 50s.
