You think $6000 is a lot? One of these sold for 22 grand 7 or 8 years ago. A bunch of us on another forum were watching the auction with our jaws on the floor. As I recall the other one was in mint condition, though, and was probably better listed. It's an item that appeals to collectors of communications and broadcasting memorabilia as well as Lionel.The Tyco Depot

The one that sold for 22k a couple of years ago was near mint. This one has been played with a lot. I believe a Lionel HO collector purchased the 22k set. There are pictures over at Yahoo's Lionel HO group site.Edited by - waw47 on February 17 2015 4:48:37 PM
