Has anyone heard of the Hollywood Foundry? It's a company in Australia that makes power trucks and other chassis and drive systems. They look of good quality. Mashima motors and so on. I wanna buy the hustler conversion kit. Impressive unit with a flywheel drive and all and a more reasonable gear ratio.

I'd love to have a shopping spree there. Lots of interesting power options.

Yes, I was looking at their RDC re-power kits because my Earnst gear kit pretty much sucks. Looks like some great stuff.

I haven't tried one myself, but I've only heard great things about their drive units. If you want to try one, I say give it a go!
The Ernst RDC kit takes some tuning, but you can end up with a really smooth runner. I put one in an Athearn RDC a while back, and it works great!
Darth Santa Fe, doing weird and challenging projects for the fun of it!

I was thinking of remotoring my athearn hustler for quite some time. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has used this company and what the results were.

Good job ... after what I went through with mine, I was convinced there was no hope ... I don't have that much patients, so I ripped out the Earnst kit and turned it into a dummy.
