My set is my latest acquisition , a set of 6 of the Shinkhansen high-speed rail train cars, sold by Model Power ( Also Playart, too ). I love the old-style bullet nose look, and the nose lights up, too. Neither engine is powered, but I have two more from previous buys that at least one is powered, so I am going to try to see if I can get a 6-car set to run. Should be interesting!

ok this a cheap set hehe But the tracks are HO size!

& look where the tender is! WRONG!
Course I found out that the tender doesn't have a 2nd coupler on it! So looks like I'll get a friend to make me one Plus loco has a RED headlight! Wrong again hehe

Microbusss, they screwed up so bad on that set it's not even funny. Seriously, how did they mess up that bad? So anyway, my SOTW is an Arnold Rapido N scale train set made between 1963-1964. The caboose is missing because the axle was broken so I used it as a drive thru building on my N scale layout section.

Well Mustangs-n-trains, I totally get that State of Maine "set." The affordability of Tyco allows us to make spectacular consists of billboard cars, mixed or one brand, road names, etc. My descent down the slippery slope began with picking up one, then another, and another, of Tyco Penn Central cars everyone else considered to be junk. As to myself, I became fascinated by the variations in green, and types of cars. This pic is the tail end of a twenty five car consist of Tyco Penn Central, with an HO Lionel thrown in to boot. Also have thirty orange NH box cars, a seven car Dutch Maid Express (hauled by a yellow Rio Grande Krauss Maufei), twelve car Jello train, six car Auto loader train, and on and on. Love what you are doing. What are you going to haul it with?
