I may have posted this before...somewhere....but if so, here goes again 
My BOTW is a LifeLike(?) motel. I saw a picture the other day where someone had taken another 4-room unit and stacked it on top for a second floor, I think I will try that sometime.

Great looking scene Jerry! Everything fits nicely and the building looks awesome. I bought one of those motels a few years ago and got as far as painting one of the walls a pale pink colour. Maybe some day I'll get as far as you did...

The swimmers at the pool are noteworthy. Usually, the purveyors of plastic people make all their swimmers look like model bikini models. If you look at a real beach or a real swimming pool, you are unlikely to see many people who look good in swim suits. A friend of the family took a picture of some really famous (and crowded) beach near Detroit and no one in the whole picture was flattered by swimwear.
These swimmers, on the other hand, look like swimmers really would look in the real world outside the television set. That's a convincing touch.
Also, the man under the diving board answers a nagging question. Many statistics refer to fractional people. I've seen census data showing 2.7 people per household, for example, but I've never met .7 people. The man under the diving board, however, appears to be about .45 people. At last, a real life example!

On my layout for the holidays is another building made for Christmas collectors. Elisha Gains General store. It has been weathered with spray on snow for use under the Christmas tree. The spray doesn't come off the buildings to well.

Frank, are the other buildings in the foreground also Christmas decorations? If so, they're pretty convincing on a layout, at least to the camera's eye anyway. I do wonder though, how only one building could have gotten snowed on!

Ah! Hi Glenn. The four buildings centered in the photo. The general store, the house with porch, the pub this neat lighting on its door sides, and the church in the background were all were apart of the past Christmas seen. I removed the caked on snow from all of them, and as I said repainted the roof and the porch roof on the house. It was a bad snowfall of very sticky snow. The little people will be doing some building remodeling in the spring.

If these buildings were modeled after ones in a story in a movie, as were the hallmark ones. I really don't know! Elisha has gotten a nice store location adjacent to the train station and should do a good business there. Good luck Elisha !
