"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Nice one!

This is from my street racing days. More than once this tag upset an IROC Z or 5.0 Stang owner...

Now that I'm no longer street racing, I'll have to come up with a train related tag ... something other than RDC-1 though.

Thanks for the inspiration Buss!

I don't get excited over tags unless they are vanity. I have One pair of 1957 Ohio plate a friend have me years ago... If it's not something directly related to me, I don't want them... Tags are everywhere you go...

Haha thanks .. it wasn't kool at the time. I took a lot of heat for it at first. I had to cream quite a few other rides before my wagon had any respect at all. Eventually, guys came looking for the wagon. I certainly wasn't the fastest, but I sure was a surprise! My friends even used me to egg on the new comers saying things like "your car couldn't beat a Chevy station wagon!" ... and then of course they would have to try. ***sighs*** the good ol' days ...

Incidentally, it had a 406 sb, long rods, original Crane Fireball cam, Rhoads lifters, Holley 780 double pumper, headers, tweaked th350, 4:11 rear & so on and so on ... fun stuff for back in the day. .... isn't this a train board? .. sorry for going way off-topic!
