Any idea if this was from a set? It's just a plain loco, not a Transformer. I did an image search and came up with this. The boxcar looks like a Transformer car judging by the couplers. The loco had either decals or dirty, sticky fingers on it at one time. Guesses? Educated opinions? Thanks Evan

My absolute best guess is that it's some variation of the Transformers set.

That looks like the Transformers loco to me. I have one too, and it's just a plain silver switcher like that with a plastic piece that snaps on the top of the hood (where the radar dish and opening panel mount). All the graphics were just stickers that often peel off.
So yes, Transformers set.

Here's a picture of mine. Notice the "Transformer" piece just clips on to the top of the engine. The graphics are stickers that (I assume) the consumer applied them self.

Evan, Does the box car fold out?

The Image of the three pieces I found on the web. What they have to do with cookware I don't know. If the transformer pieces just snap on, then that's probably what it came from. The stickers seem to be in the right spots. Thanks, gents.

No problem. I had my part so this is valid.
